Summary:

The Mathematics Department is seeking a full-time, passionate, energetic and innovative mathematics teacher who is interested in being part of a collaborative group of mathematics teachers and working with highly motivated high school students in a diverse and international community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Maths (Spanish or International Certification). Master’s degree preferred.

• Knowledge of IB Methodology is preferred.

• Knowledge and skill in the use of instructional technology, including iPads in the classroom.

• Willingness to teach introductory mathematics classes and potential to teach higher levels.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including a clear voice.

• Excellent presentation skills.
  Must have good classroom management and demonstrated ability to engage students.

• Must have a professional demeanor.

• Ability to work well with others, resolve disputes and conflicts through respectful negotiation and accept constructive feedback.

• Problem-solving skills, resilience in the face of challenges, and planning and organizational skills.
