The teacher must create an engaging, enriching and safe learning environment that allows students to develop their physical, social and emotional well-being. It should provide them with academic instruction and useful skills for their future. It must provide an education in values so that they are caring, lifelong learners and global citizens who contribute to the betterment of the world.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education with major or major equivalency in language arts.

• Knowledge and skill in the use of instructional technology, including iPads in the classroom.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including a clear voice.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Must have good classroom management and demonstrated ability to engage students.

• Must have a professional demeanor.

• Ability to work well with others, resolve disputes and conflicts through respectful negotiation and accept constructive feedback.

• Problem-solving skills, resilience in the face of challenges, and planning and organizational skills.
